– The Supreme State Security Prosecution is considering the detention renewal session of Raed Salama pending investigations in case No. 1305 of 2018, known as “Eid detainees”. The decision hasn’t yet been issued.
Issued decisions:
– The Supreme State Security Prosecution ordered the detention renewal of blogger Wael Abbas, journalist Adel Sabri, editor of Masr Alarabiya website, journalist Mervat al-Husseini and Moa’men Hassan for 15 days pending investigations in case No. 441 of 2018 State Security.
– The Supreme State Security Prosecution ordered the detention renewal of ambassador Masoum Marzouk, Yehia al-Qazzaz, Sameh Seoudi and Abdel Fattah al-Banna for 15 days pending investigations in case No. 1305 of 2018, AKA “Eid detainees”.
– Giza Criminal Court ordered the acquittal of Mohamed Nasr al-Din Allam, former Minister of Irrigation in his re-trial on charges of squandering an amount of 37 billion and 126 million Egyptian pounds of the public funds pertaining to the Egyptian –Kuwaiti Company’s land in Al Ayat (Giza Province).
– Cairo Criminal Court ordered the detention renewal of Ola Yousef al-Qaradawi for 45 days pending investigations in case No. 316 of 2016, in which she faces, along with others, several charges including membership and funding of a terrorist group.
– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 213 defendants in the “Jerusalem Supporters” case for the September 25 hearing, to hear the witnesses.
