– The Supreme State Security Prosecution is considering the detention renewal session of Dr. Shady al-Ghazali Harb in case No. 621 of 2018 State Security. The decision hasn’t yet been reached.

Issued decisions

– Cairo Criminal Court rejected the appeal submitted by blogger Wael Abbas against the 15-day pretrial detention order given to him pending case No.441 of 2018 State Security, and accordingly upheld the decision.

– Cairo Criminal Court rejected the appeal of video editor Ahmed Tareq AKA “Arnoub” against the decision to place him in pre-trial detention for 45 days pending case No. 467 of 2018 State Security, and upheld the decision

– Cairo Criminal Court rejected the appeal submitted by political activist Sherif al-Roubi against the decision to place him in pre-trial detention for 45 days pending case No. 621 of 2018 State Security, and upheld the decision.

– Damietta Criminal Court sentenced 9 girls to three years in prison, four other girls to two years in prison, and 4 young men to 10 years imprisonment in the case known in the media as “Damietta Girls”.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 213 defendants in the case known in the media as “Jerusalem Supporters” for the second of October hearing.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 32 defendants in the case known in the media as “Helwan Micro-bus Cell” for the October 15 hearing.
