– Cairo Criminal Court ordered yesterday evening the release of activist Abeer al-Safty with precautionary measures pending case No. 674 of 2019 State Security. The State Security Prosecution appealed the decision for tomorrow morning’s hearing.

– Cairo Criminal Court renewed yesterday evening the detention of lawyer Amr Nawahan for 45 days pending Case No. 741 of 2019 State Security.

– The State Security Prosecution renewed yesterday evening the detention of labor activist Khalil Rezk for 15 days pending Case No. 1475 of 2019 State Security.

– The State Security Prosecution renewed yesterday evening the detention of activist Khalil Abdel-Hamid for 15 days pending Case No. 1358 of 2019 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned yesterday evening the retrial of 39 defendants in the case known in the media as “Raiding Al-Tebbein Police Station” for February 9 hearing.

– The State Security Prosecution renewed yesterday evening the detention of laywer Mohamed Helmy Hamdoun for 15 days pending Case No. 1530 of 2019 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court set the retrial of 9 defendants in the case known in the media as “Al-Muski violence incidents” for adjudication at April 26 hearing.

– The Court of Cassation set the April 10 hearing to consider the appeals challenging the rulings issued against 14 defendants in the case known in the media as “Al-Mataryia violence incidents”.

– The Court of Cassation set the March 24 hearing to be the sentencing hearing in considering the appeal filed by the Public Prosecution against the acquittal of former Interior Minister Habib Al-Adly and 9 others in the case known in the media as “The Interior Minister corruption”.
