Issued Decisions:
– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 13 defendants in the case known in the media as the Guidance Office incidents for the October 17 hearing
– Giza Criminal Court rejected the appeal submitted by the Supreme State Security Prosecution against the release order issued for rights lawyer Haytham Mohamdein and activists Ahmed Abdel-Rahman, Youssef Rieou and Abeer al-Safti under precautionary measures into case No. 718 of 2018 State Security, and accordingly upheld the decision.
– Giza Criminal Court rejected the appeal submitted by the Supreme State Security Prosecution against the release order issued for Hagar Abdallah under precautionary measures into case No. 441 of 2018 State Security, and accordingly upheld the decision.
– Giza Criminal Court rejected the appeal submitted by activist Amal Fathy challenging the 15-day pretrial detention order issued against her into case No. 621 of 2018 State Security, and accordingly upheld the decision.
– Giza Criminal Court rejected the appeal submitted by the Supreme State Security Prosecution against the release order issued photojournalist Belal Wagdi under precautionary measures into case No. 640 of 2018 State Security, and accordingly upheld the decision.
– Giza Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 70 defendants in the Kerdasa Popular Resistance Committees case for the November 4 hearing.
– Giza Criminal Court decided to accept the appeal submitted by 5 Al-Zamalek Sporting Club fans challenging the 45-day detention order issued against them into case No. 434 of 2018 State Security. The court ruled to annul the decision and ordered their release on bail of 2000 EGP each.
