Issued Decisions:

– Helwan Prosecution ruled that female nurse Sayda Fayed be returned to prison in order to come back at the November 6 hearing to consider her detention renewal pending case No. 29377 of 2018 Helwan Misdemeanor.

– The Court of Cassation adjourned the appeal submitted by 17 defendants challenging the death and life imprisonment sentences handed down to them by the Criminal Court in the case known as “Dokki violence incidents” for the December 16 hearing.

– Giza Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 28 defendants in the case known as “Please Abdo No” for the first of December hearing.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 70 defendants in the case known as the “Kerdasa Popular Resistance Committees” for the December 9 hearing.

– The Court of Cassation accepted the appeal of the defendants in the “Cabinet incidents” case, in form, and in substance, decided to partly overturn the verdict by imitating it from the life imprisonment to 15-year imprisonment, and to turn down the appeal if otherwise.

– The Misdemeanor Appellate Court convened at the Khanka Court’s counseling room accepted the appeal submitted by activist Karim Batchan challenging the detention order issued for him. The court also ordered his release under the guarantee of place of residence over case No. 7617 of 2018 Al-Obur Administrative.

– Al-Nozha Prosecution ordered the release of political activist Kamal Khalil under the guarantee of his place of residence into case No. 10369 of 2017 Al-Nozha Misdemeanors.

– Giza Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 11 defendants in the case known in the media as “The Interior Ministry corruption” for the November 8 hearing.

–  Sohag Criminal Court adjourned the retrial procedures of 3 defendants in the case known as “The Cave Incidents” case for the December 4 hearing.

– Sohag Criminal Court adjourned the retrial procedures of 5 defendants implicated in the attempt of planting a bomb in Maragha city’s railway station with the aim of detonating, for the January 15 hearing.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the retrial of 24 defendants in the case known as “Spying with Hamas” for the November 25 hearing.

– The State Security Prosecution has renewed the detention of journalist Adel Sabry in case No. 441 of 2018 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision till now.

– The State Security Prosecution has considered the detention renewal of journalist Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim in case No. 2015 of 2015 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision till now.

– The State Security Prosecution is presiding over the detention renewal of Masoum Marzouk, Yehia al-Qazaz, Sameh Seoudi , Abdel-Fattah al-Banna and Nermin Hassan into case No. 1305 of 2018 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision till now.
