Issued decisions:-
– The Appellate Court of Urgent Matters set the November 28 hearing to pronounce the verdict in the appeal challenging the first-degree ruling that ruled the court has no jurisdiction over the “shutting down of Cairo’s BBC office” lawsuit.
– Giza Criminal Court adjourned the retrial procedures of one defendant in the “cabinet incidents” case for the hearing of 11 December 2018.
– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the retrial procedures of actor Tarek al-Nahri and 29 others on a charge of arson targeting the Egyptian Scientific Complex for the December 1 hearing, to proceed with hearing the defense’s pleading.
– Giza Criminal Court set the retrial of defendants in “Al-Nozha violence incidents” case for adjudication at the December 6 hearing.
– Today (Wednesday), the Ismailia Military Court handed down the final verdict against 42 defendants accused in case No. 325 of 2017 Ismailia Military Misdemeanors; eight of them have been sentenced, in absentia, to death, 32 defendants to life imprisonment, and 15 others to high-security prison.
– Mokattam Emergency State Security Misdemeanors Court adjourned the trial of 102 defendants accused in the “Mokattam Hospital and police station incidents”- occurred in objection to the killing of Mohamed Abdel-Hakim, AKA “Afrotto” inside the police department- for the November 14 hearing to hear the defense’s pleading.
– The Supreme State Security Prosecution ruled that Moaaz al-Sharkawy be returned to prison to come back tomorrow Thursday to consider his detention renewal hearing into case No. 440 of 2018 State Security.
