– Cairo Criminal Court’s 1st Terrorism Circuit sentenced one defendant to life imprisonment, 9 defendants to 15 years in high-security prison and one defendant to 7 years in prison, while it ordered the acquittal of one defendant in the case known in the media as “Al-Qaeda in Kerdasa district”.
– The Court of Administrative Justice turned down the lawsuit filed by artist Amr Waked demanding to oblige the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Egyptian Consulate in the Spanish capital Madrid to renew his passport.
– The Court of Administrative postponed the lawsuit lodged by a number of Al-Warraq Island inhabitants demanding the annulment of the Prime Ministers decision No. 20 of 2018 to establish a new urban community in the island, to the hearing of April 24; to review the case documents.
