– Minya Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 20 lawyers in the case known in the media as “insulting the judiciary” for the hearing of the third day of June circle 2021 for pleadings.
-Cairo Criminal Court sentenced 4 defendants in the case known in the media as “The oppressed of downtown” to one year in prison.
-Cairo Criminal Court sentenced 11 defendants in the case known in the media as “riots at Al Ayyat police center ” to one year in prison and placed the convicts on terror lists.
– Cairo Criminal Court’s 5th Circuit adjourned the trial of 8 defendants in the case known in the media as “Isis Cell- Helwan” for the hearing of 30 March for pleadings.
– Cairo Criminal Court’s 5th Circuit set the trial of 10 defendants in the case known in the media as “The terrorist Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated specific cells” for adjudication at the hearing of 10 April.
– Cairo Criminal Court’s 5th Circuit sentenced 6 defendants to life imprisonment and 4 others to 15 years in high-security prison in the case known in the media as “Isis Cell- Ain Shams” and placed them on the terrorist list.
Decisions not issued
– Cairo Criminal Court’s 3rd circuit has considered the detention renewal of human rights lawyer Amr Imam, journalists Khaked Dawoud and Ahmed Shaker, photojournalist Hossam al- Sayyad, engineer Hassan Abdel Hamid, deputy of the Socialist Alliance Party Abdel Nasser Ismail, and student Omar Khaled pending Case 488 of 2019 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
– Cairo Criminal Court’s 3rd circuit has considered the detention renewal of human rights lawyer Zyiad El Eliemy, journalists Hossam Moanis and Hesham Fouad and labor leader Hassan Barbary pending Case 930 of 2019 State Security, known in the media as “Hope Coalition”, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
