– The Court of Cassation adjourned the appeal filed by Botrus Ghali, brother of former Minister of Finance Youssef Botrus Ghali, challenging the 30-year high-security prison sentence he received on charges of possessing and smuggling antiquities to European countries, in addition to a fine of 6 million EGP. The appeal was postponed to the hearing of 3 June 2021.
