– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 22 defendants accsued of detaining and torturing a citizen to death and killing another one for the hearing of 12 July. The case was postponed as the defendants agreed to cooperate with the security services to report against the terrorist group’s members.
– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 12 defendants in the case known in the media as “Imbaba Terrorist Cell” for the hearing of 8 August 2021.
– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the retrial procedures of the defendants in the case known in the media as “Zeitoun Terrorist Cell” for the hearing of 12 September 2021.
– Cairo Criminal Court ordered the release of lawyer Mohamed El Ebrashi with precautionary measures pending Case No. 1898 of 2019 State Security.
– Cairo Criminal Court sentenced one defendant to 10 years in high-security prison in the case known in the media as “Al Mataryia violence incidents”.

– Cairo Criminal Court has considered the detention renewal session of publisher Ismail Al Qamry pending Case No. 810 of 2020 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
