Issued decisions:

– The 5^th Terrorism Circuit decided to refer the papers of Bahaa Keshk and two other defendants to the Grand Mufti in connection with the case known in the media as “Leading Al-Murabetein terrorist group”, and set the case for adjudication at the hearing of 25 October 2021.

– The 5^th Terrorism Circuit sentenced a defendant, who works as a technician in mobile phones industry, to life imprisonment on a charge of joining a terrorist group.

– The 1^st Terrorism Circuit adjourned the trial of 12 defendants in the case known in the media as “Hesham Ashmawi Cell” for the hearing of 17 August.

– The 5th Terrorism Circuit adjourned the trial of 103 defendants in the case known in the media as “Al-Joker Cell” for the hearing of 24 August.

– The Court of Cassation has considered the appeals filed by 11 defendants challenging the life and high-security prison sentences handed down in the case known in the media as “spying for Hamas”, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.

– Cairo Criminal Court has considered the trial of one defendant, an administrative employee in Cairo University, on a charge of joining a terrorist group, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.

– Cairo Criminal Court has considered the trial of 5 defendants in the case known in the media as “Gond-Allah terrorist group”, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.

– Cairo Criminal Court has considered the trial of two defendants in the case known in the media as “ISIS- Al-Salam province”, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
