– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of political activist Ahmed Douma in the case publicly known as the Cabinet incidents for the July 25 hearing

– Mansoura Court ordered the detention renewal of activist Mohammed Adel for 15 days pending investigations in case No. 5606 of 2018 Agha Administrative

– Cairo Court of Appeal set the September 3 hearing as the first trial hearing of 28 defendants in case No. 1102 of 2017 Emergency Supreme State Security, which is known in media as ” the National Council for Change”.

– The Military Court decided to adjourn the retrial of 3 defendants in the case known as “Der Mowas Telephone Exchange” for the July 24 hearing.

– The House of Representatives approved a bill submitted by the government to amend some of the provisions of the Decree Law No. 89 of 196 on Entry, Residence and Exit of Foreigners and Law No. 26 of 1975 concerning Egyptian nationality. The decree grants Egyptian nationality to foreign residents in return for a bank deposit of 7 million pounds over 5 years.
