Issued decisions:

– The East Cairo Military Court adjourned the trial of 271 defendants in “Hassm and Lewaa al-Thawra” case for the February 13 hearing for defense’s requests.

– Sohag Prosecution renewed the detention of 8 MB members for 15 days pending investigations after being accused of joining a terrorist group.

– Al-Minya Criminal Court adjourned the retrial procedures against one defendant accused in the case publicly known as “El-Edwa incidents” for the February 27 hearing for pleading.

– The Military Court adjourned the trial of 170 defendants in the case known as “Taking pictures of Belbeis air base” for the February 6 hearing.

– Cairo Criminal Court sentenced former deputy governor of Alexandria to 12 years in prison in addition to one-year suspended sentence and termination of her employment. The court, on the other hand, cleared 6 other defendants of all charges attributed to them in the bribery case and referred the civil lawsuit to the civil court.

Decisions not issued until 5 pm:

–   Cairo (urgent) Appellant Court is considering the appeal challenging the decision declaring the court has no jurisdiction over the dismissal of Yahya al-Dakrouri, but hasn’t reached a decision yet.
