Decisions not issued until 5 PM

– Cairo Criminal Court has just considered the imprisonment renewal hearing of photojournalist Mohamed al-Husseiny into case No. 915 of 2017 State Security, but hasn’t reached to a decision yet.

– Cairo Criminal Court is presiding over the trial of 23 defendants into the case known in media as “Ansar al-Shariaa Brigades”. The decision hasn’t been made yet.

Issued Decisions:

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution ordered, yesterday night, the detention renewal of Hatem Bastawy and Youssef Ahmed for 15 days pending investigations conducted with them in case No. 718 of 2018 State Security.

– The Military Court adjourned the trial of 292 defendants in the case known as “Assassination attempt of Sisi and the Saudi Crown Prince” for the August 15 hearing.

– Maadi Prosecution decided to refer human rights activist Amal Fathy to the Criminal Court in case No. 7991 of 2018 Maadi Misdemeanors and the set the hearing of August 11 to consider it.
