–  The Supreme State Security Prosecution is presiding over the detention renewal session of Shady Abo Zeid pending investigations in case No. 621 of 2018 State Security. The decision hasn’t been issued yet.

Issued Decisions

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution ordered the detention renewal of Amal Fathi for 15 days pending investigations in case No. 621 of 2018 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court sentenced 6 defendants to death, 2 defendants to life imprisonment, one defendant to 5 years rigorous imprisonment, one minor to 15 years in prison and 2 minors to 3 years in prison, in the case known as “attacking Al-Khosos checkpoint”.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 213 defendants in case No. 423 of 2013 State Security known as the “Jerusalem supporters” case to the September 4 hearing for hearing witnesses.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the retrial of a defendant in the case known as “Nasr City cell II” for the September 22 hearing to continue hearing witnesses.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 45 defendants, including 10 fugitives, in case No. 610 of 2014 state security known as the “Bombing of the High Pressure Towers”  case for the September 20 hearing to proceed with the pleading.

– The Court of Administrative Justice adjourned the lawsuit filed by Khaled Ali to halt the implementation of plans for the resettlement of Palestinians in the Sinai Peninsula for the December 22 hearing.

– The State Council’s second circuit adjourned the lawsuits filed by a number of independent trade union leaders, demanding the annulment of the Minister of Manpower’s decision No. 35 of 2018 to issue the executive regulation of the Trade Union and Trade Union Law No. 213 of 2017, for the October 7 hearing.
