– Giza Criminal Court sentenced 11 defendants to life imprisonment, two defendants to 15 years in high-security prison, and one defendant to 3 years in prison in the case known in the media as “Helwan ISIS”.

– Cairo Criminal Court turned down the appeal submitted by the Prosecution against the release order on probation for pharmacist Gamal Abdel Fattah, student Khaled Bassiouni and activist Khaled Mahmoud pending case No. 1739 of 2018 State Security, and accordingly upheld the decision.

– The military appeals court set the appeal submitted by the defendants in the case known in the media as “Beit al-Maqdes (Jerusalem) Supporters 3” for adjudication at the August 5 hearing.

Decisions not issued until 5 pm 

– Cairo Criminal Court has just finished considering the appeal submitted by the State Security Prosecution against the release order on probation issued for Mohamed Oxygen, student Mohamed Khaled and political activist Sherif al-Roubi pending case No. 621 of 2018 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
